How to Use This Theme This theme is meant to updated very quickly in the event of a chargeback or cancellation. 1. Logo To Change the text based logo, just edit the text block for "Logo - Text" in the header and the footer 2. The Banner Image The banner has six images pre-loaded to choose from. 3. The Quicklinks There are also two quicklink sectors to choose from. The images for the quicklinks have not been added. They will need to be added manually. 4. The backgound color can be updated to any light color and the rest of the theme colors will more or less blend.

Creating a Google Account

GOOGLE ACCOUNT SETUP//

This document will give you some information about Google, as well as walk you through the process of setting up a Google account. This account can be used for your businesses email (Gmail) and will also be used to set up a Google Analytics and Google Search Console account once your website is live.

Google Analytics: Is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Once your website has been set live, this is an extremely valuable tool that can be used to help you identify the pages on the site that would be the most beneficial for you to optimize. To learn more about Google Analytics and how you can utilize the information in your analytics account to improve the performance of your website, you can take some free online courses through the Google Analytics Academy by going to the following link: https://analyticsacademy.withgoogle.com

Google Search Console: Formerly known as Google Webmaster Tools, Google Search console allows webmasters to check indexing status and optimize visibility of their websites to help you monitor and maintain your site's presence in Google search results. Among other things, this tool will help you understand how Google views your website and can be used to help you identify which pages might be most beneficial for you to optimize in order to position yourself better in search results. To learn more about Google Search Console and how you can use the information it offers to improve your site, you can go to the following link: https://support.google.com/webmasters/.

Creating a Google Account //

  1. Go to https://accounts.google.com/SignUp
  2. You’ll be brought to a page like what you see below. Fill in the form fields you see on the right hand side. For the field that is labeled ‘Choose your username’, you will want to enter your domain name. So for example, if your domain name is going to be exampledomainname.com, you’ll want to enter exampledomainname Into that field so that your email address will be exampledomainname@gmail.com and thus reflecting your domain name. Complete the remaining fields, and then click the blue button in the buttom right corner that says ‘Next step’. Note: The ‘Mobile Phone’ or ‘Your current email address’ are not required fields so you can leave those blank. Those two fields are used for the purpose of doing account recovery in case you ever have trouble logging into your Google account.
  3. Once you click the ‘Next step’ button, a screen will pop up with Google’s ‘Privacy and Terms’ agreemnt. You can read through the agreement and then click the blue botton in the buttom right that says ‘I Agree’

  4. Once you click ‘ I AGREE’, you will be brought to a welcome screen like what you see below. From here click the blue botton that says ‘Continue to Gmail’
  5. This will bring up another box that gives you the opportunity to take a tour of your Gmail account. If you are new to Gmail it is recommended that you go through the tour.
  6. You’re Google account set up is now complete.
